Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics at DePaul University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level with an expected start date of July 1, 2027. We are looking for empirically oriented candidates in three distinct areas. These include macroeconomics, urban economics, and business economics, which we broadly think of as the application of economics to business strategy and decision-making. The business economics position could span a range of fields, including behavioral economics, and the right candidate will actively contribute to our MBA program. Within macroeconomics, we are particularly interested in candidates specializing in international macroeconomics, macro-finance, or macroeconomic history. We are open to a broad range of areas within urban economics.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field by the start date.
Demonstrated potential for producing significant research contributions.
Strong teaching skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
